Gina France has more than 25 years of strategy, investment banking
and corporate finance experience and is a 15-year veteran of Wall Street,
primarily with a “bulge-bracket” investment banking firm.
Before founding France Strategic Partners, Ms. France was a Partner
with Ernst & Young LLP and directed the Firm's Center for Strategic
Transactions® in Cleveland. In this capacity, Ms. France advised CEOs
on a broad spectrum of strategic alternatives and financial transactions.
Prior to her work with Ernst & Young, Ms. France was a Senior Vice
President with Lehman Brothers in New York and San Francisco. During
her tenure, Ms. France executed over $5 billion in financings and served
as the lead banker for several industry “firsts” that were nominated for
the Institutional Investor’s Deal of the Year. Her strategic advisory
experience includes leading the negotiations for a $1 billion outsourcing
contract and the management buyout of a hospital. Prior to Lehman
Brothers, Ms. France was the International Cash Manager of Marathon
Oil Company, then a Fortune 30 Company, where she was responsible
for funding 26 international subsidiaries.
Ms. France has lectured extensively and authored numerous articles on
financing topics. Her materials have been included in CFO Magazine,
Forbes, CEO Forum, M & A Advisor, CrossCurrents Magazine, Inside
Business Magazine and Crain’s Cleveland Business.
Ms. France graduated Summa Cum Laude with an MBA in Finance from
the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern
University, where she was an Austin Scholar. She holds a Bachelor of
Science with Highest Distinction in Finance from Indiana University.
